Abstract

Il s'agit d'une structure légère permettant la réalisation rapide et économique de surfaces couvertes à l'aide de films plastiques ou de bâches textiles. La structure comporte essentiellement un ensemble de câbles régulièrement espacés, supportant la couverture, et reliés à des ancrages dans le sol. D'autre part un ensemble de cordages situés au-dessus de la couverture, et présentant une certaine souplesse, maintient la couverture vis-a-vis des effets du vent Ce type de structure, conçu pour la réalisation de séchoir à tabac, peut être utilisé pour la construction de serres, de bâtiments à usage agricole (élevage ou stockage) ou industriel, ainsi que pour diverses constructions provisoires.
