Abstract

The pulse generator is for colour TV line frequency control. The generator is intended to overcome the problems associated with the total loss of alignment in the absence of a video signal or when the signal strength is very weak. Control pulses are produced in response to each flyback signal, the pulses being coincident with the rear edge of the suppression signal. Synchronisation signals are separated after detection and fed as positive signals to the horizontal sweep pulse generators, the latter via a gate circuit (200) inhibiting the transmission of the rear edge of the synchronisation pulse. A further stage prevents transmission of the leading edge of further stage prevents transmission of the leading edge of this pulse.
