Carburateur comportant, dans son conduit d'admission, un organe d'étranglement auxiliaire commande un organe doseur réglant le débit de combustible dirigé vers ledit conduit à partir d'une source de combustible sous l'effet de la dépression régnant dans une chambre limitée dans le conduit d'admission par ledit organe d'étranglement. Ledit organe doseur 5 est prévu pour se déplacer au-delà de la position qu'il occupe lorsque ledit organe d'étranglement auxiliaire 4 cesse d'étrangler le conduit d'admission.
