Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau ininflammable et ignifuge. Ce matériau comprend : 1. un matériau instable au feu revêtu par 2 un matériau de revêtement capable de subir une intumescence à une température faible, d'environ 75 degrés C à environ 150 degrés C, sous l'effet de la chaleur ou au contact d'une flamme, ledit matériau de revêtement subissant une intumescence abondante et formant ainsi une barrière de mousse thermiquement isolante sur ledit matériau instable au feu, cette mousse devenant ensuite un produit calciné ou résidu poreux sous l'action continue de la chaleur ou de la flamme. Excellent comportement au feu.
