Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé continu de concentration et d'épuration des vieux acides issus de la fabrication des dérivés nitrés des alkylphénols et l'installation pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. Les vieux acides pré-traités sont introduits dans un évaporateur où règne une pression comprise entre 50 et 760 mm de mercure et une température de 50 et 760 mm de mercure et une température de 50 à 120 degrés C Les impuretés sont transformées intégralement en acides picrique, oxalique et carboxylique commercialisables. L'acide nitrique pur récupéré titre au moins 50 % et est obtenu avec un rendement supérieur à 90 %. Application : rentabilisation du traitement des effluents des unites de production des dérivés nitrés des alkylphénols, notamment du dinitro-4,6 0-t-butyl phénol, l'acide carboxylique récupéré étant alors de l'acide pivalique.The invention relates to a continuous process for the concentration and purification of old acids resulting from the manufacture of nitro derivatives of alkylphenols and to the installation for the implementation of this process.
