Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de séparation du soufre contenu dans le charbon, consistant successivement, à broyer le charbon à une granulométrie inférieure à 0,2 mm, à séparer du poussier de charbon les fractions comprises entre 0,03 et 0,07 mm selon l'espèce de charbon, à soumettre à flottation ou criblage les fractions séparées pour séparer le soufre et le charbon, et à traiter séparément ces deux derniers corps. Le procédé permet de réduire la désulfuration à la fraction de charbon contenant la plus grande proportion de soufre et de produire simplement et à peu de frais un charbon dont la combustion n'entraînera pas de conséquences fâcheuses pour l'environnement.The invention relates to a process for separating sulfur contained in coal, consisting successively in grinding the coal to a particle size of less than 0.2 mm, in separating from the coal dust the fractions between 0.03 and 0.07 mm according to the species of coal, to subject to flotation or sifting the separated fractions to separate the sulfur and the coal, and to treat separately these last two bodies.
