Abstract

Dispositif d'électrode en carbone. Dans un dispositif d'électrode pour four à arc, du genre constitué par des éléments successifs comportant à chaque extrémité un alésage fileté borgne propre à recevoir un embout de liaison, le fond de cet alésage est chambré de telle façon que le filetage de la partie alesée comporte sur la longueur d'au moins un filet une section à hauteur réduite 5 dont le flanc 11 tourné vers le fond est découpé de manière à faire avec l'autre flanc un angle alpha égal ou supérieur à 90 degrés , ce qui améliore la résistance mécanique et évite les ruptures. Application aux fours à arc.
