Abstract
The transisterised DC-AC converter is connected between the positive and negative terminals of a continuous current source. In it common branch the primary winding (1) of a transformer is connected. In each of the vertical legs of the H connection is a transistor switch (T1-T4) these switches connect the source terminals to the common branch. The transformers secondary winding supplies an alternating voltage to a rectifier (4), a filter (5) and a load (7). The common branch of the H connection has also a capacitor (3) in series with the primary winding (1) of the transformer. The capacitor (3) blocks the continuous component which results from asymmetry in the amplitudes of the currents i and i' passing through the common branch. The capacitor (3) must have an impedance between 3% and 30% of the loads (7) referred impedance with respect to the transformer primary (1).
