Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un palier de secours pour corps tournants animés d'un mouvement de rotation rapide, dans lequel un élément de palier entoure le corps tournant et n'est en contact avec lui qu'en cas de déviations exagérées. b. Ce palier est caractérisé en ce que l'élément de palier est disposé pour se déplacer librement entre deux surfaces coniques coaxiales correspondant à une enveloppe et au corps tournant, l'intervalle annulaire entre les deux surfaces étant diminué par l'élément de palier en cas de déviation du corps tournant. c. L'invention est applicable, notamment aux turbines à gaz, compresseurs et tambours de centrifugation.
