Abstract
L'invention concerne un trépan rotatif et monobloc pour le forage. Le trépan comporte d'une part un corps ayant une forme extérieure sensiblement de révolution par rapport à un axe de révolution et un forme vers le haut un filetage et vers le bas une surface convexe et au travers duquel sont ménagés des conduits de passage de la boue de forage, d'autre part, une pluralité de picots munis chacun à leur extrémité d'une surface de diamant synthétique polycristallin et implantés dans ladite surface convexe et il est caractérisé par le fait que le corps forme au voisinage de l'axe de rotation une surface concave sensiblement conique et qu'il comporte au moins une lame de faible épaisseur qui s'étend radialement à partir de l'axe de révolution jusqu'à la périphérie de la surface concave et est en saillie par rapport à ladite surface, le profil de cette lame étant tel que l'extrémité centrale soit la plus haute et que l'extrémité périphérique soit la plus basse, cette lame formant une arête dure et coupante continue, et par le fait qu'il comporte des buses de passage de la boue de forage disposées à côté de ladite lame et à proximité de l'axe de révolution. Le trépan est destiné au forage de formations tendres ou de duretés moyennes.
