Abstract

Cet outil de forage à percussion comprend un corps, une tête arrière 3 montée dans la première extrémité du corps et qui raccorde l'outil à un train de tiges 2 et à une alimentation d'air comprimé, un distributeur 14 muni d'un clapet 16 de retenue, un trépan qui coulisse dans l'autre extrémité du corps et qui délimite avec le corps et le distributeur une chambre dans laquelle coulisse un piston 30 à diamètres étagés destiné à frapper le trépan; l'appareil est complété par une chemise 50 dans laquelle coulisse la partie supérieure de plus petit diamètre du piston 30, tandis que la partie inférieure de grand diamètre de ce piston coulisse dans le corps. Des rainures coopèrent avec un chambrage 80 de la chemise et un chambrage du corps pour transmettre alternativement la pression aux deux faces terminales du piston 30, tandis que la partie de la section du piston reçoit continûment la pression de l'air comprimé.
