Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation des surfaces d'une bande ou tôle d'acier calmé à l'aluminium ou d'acier faiblement allié en vue d'un revêtement métallique par immersion à chaud sans flux. On fait passer la bande ou tôle dans un four chauffé par combustion directe d'un combustible gazeux contenant des composés soufrés avec de l'air pour produire une atmosphère de produits gazeux de combustion, on chauffe la bande ou tôle à une temperature suffisante pour former sur lesdites surfaces un film d'oxysulfure de fer, on fait passer la bande ou tôle dans une seconde zone de chauffage, on fait passer ladite bande ou tôle dans une zone de refroidissement pourvue d'une atmosphère contenant au moins 10 % en volume d'hydrogène, le complément étant essentiellement de l'azote. Revêtement de l'acier.
