Abstract

La présente invention est relative à un procédé de préparation d'un catalyseur extrudé, caractérisé en ce que : a. on mélange un oxyde minéral réfractaire finement divisé, un agent de peptisation et suffisamment d'eau pour obtenir un mélange caractérisé par une perte de poids au feu, à 900 degrés C, de 50 à 70 %; b. on maintient le mélange dans des conditions de mélange par cisaillement, l'intensité du mélange par cisaillement étant caractérisée par un apport énergétique équivalant à de 33 à 264 watt-heures par kg d'oxyde minéral réfractaire sec contenu dans le mélange pendant un laps de temps de 0,5 à 5 minutes; c. on extrude la pâte résultante et on sèche et calcine l'extrudat. Le catalyseur obtenu est utilisable dans un procédé d'hydrodésulfuration d'hydrocarbures contenant du soufre.
