Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un véhicule sous-marin d'observation non habité, qui est télécommandé acoustiquement à partir d'un navire accompagnateur 1. Un véhicule 8 selon l'invention comporte une ossature rigide ; un carénage 9; une batterie d'accumulateurs 10; des enceintes 11 et 12 contenant l'appareillage de téléguidage et les appareils d'observation et d'enregistrement; un recepteur acoustique 17 qui reçoit les ondes acoustiques provenant d'un émetteur acoustique 2; un dispositif d'asservissement automatique de pesée et d'altitude 14, 16 qui est largable; deux propulseurs latéraux 13. Un dispositif d'asservissement du cap du véhicule reçoit par télécommande la valeur du cap affiche, compare celle-ci au cap lu par un indicateur de cap et maintient automatiquement le cap lu égal au cap affiché. Une application est l'exploration des grandes profondeurs.
