Abstract

The sail board has a hull (1) which may be in wood, plastics or aluminium. The hull is fitted with buoyancy. The hull is fitted with two stabilisers along each side. There is also a centre plate (2) and a mast (3) fitted to a joint (4). The joint allows movement of the mast in any direction. The sail (5) has a sleeve which fits over the mast at the buff. The centre of the sail is reinforced to allow stretching along a boom (7) and a downhaul (9) stretches the buff of the sail. The centre plate case (11) is fixed to the hull.
