Ce procédé se caractérise par l'insertion dans un trou longitudinal 25 des tenons de la pièce en croix 13, d'un tirant 24 qui, s'appuyant sur un oeillet 12 de la fourche 10, enfonce une douille de palier dans l'autre oeillet 11. Application : entraînement de laminoirs.
