Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un injecteur de combustible pour alimenter en combustible une chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne. Selon l'invention, l'injecteur comporte une soupape dont la tête est agencée pour coopérer avec un siège afin de régler le débit à travers un orifice d'atomisation du combustible provenant d'un orifice d'entrée, cette soupape présentant une surface contre laquelle agit le combustible sous pression provenant de cette entree pour soulever la soupape de son siège et permettre ainsi au combustible de traverser l'orifice provenant de cette entrée, l'orifice d'atomisation étant disposé en dessous de la tête de soupape, de telle sorte que, lorsque la soupape est fermée, l'orifice est isolé de la chambre de combustion du moteur.
