Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil portatif de lecture optique. Il comporte un boîtier en deux sections opposées, en matière plastique moulée, formant une tête et une poignée. Une source lumineuse, une lentille, un masque, une unité photosensible et un amplificateur sur une carte de circuit imprimé sont maintenus entre les deux sections de boîtier. Une pièce en forme de pointe en saillie sous la tête permet de positionner l'appareil par rapport à un code, sur une étiquette, et assure également la protection contre la lumière ambiante. L'invention s'applique notamment à la lecture de codes à bâtonnets portés par des étiquettes.
