Abstract

La présente invention est relative à un joint d'étanchéité tournant à support élastique. Un joint selon l'invention comprend deux pièces de frottement I pressées l'une sur l'autre par une pièce de liaison comprenant une première partie 11 en caoutchouc ou similaire portant sur la piece de frottement et une seconde partie 12 qui vient se placer dans un logement d'un support 7, reliées par une partie intermédiaire. Une armature métallique va de la seconde partie 12 jusque vers le milieu de la première partie 11, renforçant ainsi la partie intermédiaire qui supporte les déformations. Application aux transmissions d'engins chenillés, aux pompes travaillant dans une ambiance corrosive ou abrasive, etc.
