Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé nouveau et amélioré pour préparer des acides dialkyl-3,5 hydoxy-4 benzoïques à partir des dialkyl-2,6 phénols correspondants. Le procéde est intéressant car il permet d'éviter l'utilisation d'alcoolates ou d'hydroxydes de métal alcalin, il ne nécessite pas un contrôle rigoureux de la concentration en gaz carbonique et il n'exige pas des températures élevées. On obtient des rendements de l'ordre de 90 à 95%.
