Abstract

The step by step electrical machine has a reduced noise level. The machine is of the type which has a wound stator and a magnetic rotor and exciting windings. Each pair of windings is connected in series and is associated with a pair of opposite poles having their axes in a first plane. The first pair of windings are also connected in series with a second pair of windings associated with a pair of opposite poles having a common axis in a plane making an angle of 90 deg. to the first plane. Each pole has on it two windings wound in opposite directions which permit polarity changing.
