Abstract

The two diagonally connected legs (2, 3) of the corner connection angle (1) are inserted into the end-face end openings of the profiled frame-bodies which abut at an angle. In the region of the reinforcement head, the corner connection angle (1) is then provided with a sealing means which serves for sealing the end-face profiled-body cavity openings and is to form a diffusion barrier which prevents water vapour penetrating from outside into the profiled-body cavities. In order that the outer surface (16) of the reinforcement head affords the sealing compound a better grip, it is inclined by 45 DEG in relation to the longitudinal direction of the two legs (2, 3) of the corner connection angle which enclose an angle of 90 DEG and is provided with ribs (20) which, with the surface of the reinforcement head, enclose an angle of 45 DEG or 135 DEG . The sealing means enters into the intermediate spaces of the ribs (20) and is held securely by the ribs (20) which in this case act like barb-like elements.
