Abstract

Plaque chirurgicale d'ostéosynthèse dont les caractéristiques mécaniques permettent d'éviter le déchaussement ou la rupture des vis distales d'un montage d'ostéosynthèse par plaque; d'augmenter au niveau du foyer de fracture ou d'ostéotomie la rigidité du montage précité; et d'éviter les ruptures pathologiques survenant sur l'os sain aux extrémités de la plaque d'un montage d'ostéosynthèse. Cette plaque présente une flexibilité variable, de sa partie moyenne à ses extrémités. Cette variation de flexibilité est obtenue principalement par une variation de la surface de sa section droite. Cette variation de section permet de parcourir une ou plusieurs structures de résistance en arc-boutant d'un bout à l'autre de la plaque, ou sur une ou plusieurs parties de la plaque. L'invention s'applique au matériel chirurgical d'ostéosynthèse par plaque, clou-plaque, lame-plaque, vis-plaque ainsi qu'un matériel destiné aux fractures épiphysaires.
