Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement de surfaces métalliques de portée de composants mobiles l'un par rapport à l'autre. Ledit procédé consiste à traiter thermiquement au moyen d'un faisceau de grande énergie, des zones déterminées seulement de la surface de portée. Les surfaces métallurgiques desdites zones traitées thermiquement sont modifiées de façon à en améliorer la résistance à 1'usure. Application au traitement thermique de composants tels que des chemises de cylindres pour en améliorer la résistance à l'usure.
