Abstract

Ce joint de cardan à grand angle, principalement destiné à transmettre un couple d'un tracteur à un instrument agricole attelé à ce tracteur, comprend deux joints de cardan élémentaires 5 dont les croisillons sont réunis par une double fourche commune, et dont les arbres sont guidés l'un par rapport à l'autre au moyen de deux manchons 4 qui tourillonnent sur ces arbres au moyen de roulements à billes et qui portent chacun une paire de secteurs dentés 13 en prise avec les secteurs dentés de l'autre manchon. Le plan d'articulation de ces manchons est maintenu élastiquement au moyen d'un ressort 12, dans un plan formant un angle de 0 à 90 degrés , de préférence de 45 degrés , avec la surface de roulement du tracteur.
