Abstract

Un moteur à quatre temps avec ségrégation de charge présente une chambre distincte de précombustion 3 dans laquelle le mélange carburant-air injecté est allumé, le cylindre associé présentant une seconde chambre 4 de combustion forma dans la tête du piston, chambre dans laquelle une autre combustion s'effectue avec un mélange pauvre par rapport à celui qui a brûlé dans la chambre de précom ustion, le volume de la seconde chambre de combustion étant 10-40 % du volume total dans lequel s'effectue la combustion.
