Abstract

Procédé pour isoler la fraction antigène d'oeufs à maturité de Schistosoma mansoni. On broie des oeufs à maturité de Schistosoma mansoni pour en libérer les antigènes solubles, que l'on fractionne et qu'on purifie par absorption, filtration sur gel et/ou chromatographie d'échange ionique et ensuite on procède à un marquage radio-actif avec **125I. Une fraction, identifiée MSA1 , est spécifique du stade de maturité des oeufs de Schistosoma mansoni. Application à la détermination de la présence d'anticorps chez des patients suspectés d'être infectés, et également à la différenciation entre les espèces de schistosomes (spécificité d'espèce) et entre des stades de maturité ou de non maturité des oeufs (spécificité du stade d'évolution).
