Abstract

Procédé selon la revendication 1 du brevet principal amélioré par le fait qu'avant son application, on soumet les éléments combustibles à un traitement de changement de pression sous eau. La face intérieure des bouchons d'extrémités 24 des barreaux de combustible est agrandie par une forme conique 24b et comporte une saillie centrale pour le détachement rapide de gouttes d'eau de condensation 26. Application : détection de défauts très petits, ou seulement imminents, dans les barreaux d'un ensemble d'éléments combustibles de réacteurs nucléaires refroidis à l'eau.
