Abstract

L'invention a pour objet l'élimination d' alpha -acétylène d'une fraction d'hydrocarbure, notamment de butadiène ou d'isoprène, c'est-à-dire d'une dioléfine en C4 -C5 . On met en contact ladite fraction avec un amidure de métal alcalin, par exemple l'amidure de sodium, avantageusement sur un support d'alumine et on sépare ensuite la fraction et l'amidure. Ce procédé permet d'obtenir une diminution de l'empoisonnement des catalyseurs par les alpha -acétylènes au cours de la polymérisation ultérieure.
