Outil à durée de vie plus longue. Il comprend un élément de support 12, un grand nombre de cristaux abrasifs 16 choisis dans le groupe comprenant les cristaux de diamant et de nitrure de bore cubique, ces cristaux étant partiellement noyés dans une couche métallique 18 liée à l'élément de support et une couche de résine 20 revêtant ladite couche métallique et entourant partiellement les cristaux, ces cristaux étant apparents à leur extrémité opposée à l'élément de support. Application aux meules abrasives.
