Abstract

Chenal de coulée comportant une armature rigide et un volume réfractaire caractérisé en ce que ce dernier est recouvert d'une couche de matériaux fibreux, réfractaire hautement résistante à l'abrasion et à la corrosion, dont l'usure ou la destruction peut être détectée par l'apparition d'un film coloré déposé sur le volume du réfractaire. Cette couche peut être réalisée en éléments standard amovibles. Suivant une disposition particulière de l'invention, le chenal peut être équipé d'éléments de chauffage dont l'efficacité est accrue par la présence d'une couche accumulatrice de calories.
