Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à contenir une batterie à métal alcalin. Il comporte un boîtier métallique fermé fixé sur une barrière tubulaire perméable aux cations par l'intermédiaire d'une pièce de céramique en formant ainsi une première zone de réaction. Un second boîtier, métallique ou en céramique, est fixé sur la pièce de céramique de manière que le volume entre ce second boîtier et la surface extérieure de la barrière forme une seconde zone de réaction. L'invention s'applique notamment aux batteries au soufresodium.
