Abstract
La présente invention concerne une substance luminescente et plus particulièrement une substance luminescente pour l'utilisation dans des tubes à rayons cathodiques utilisables dans des explorateurs par point lumineux. La substance luminescente selon la présente invention comprend un grenat d'yttrium ou de terre rare, du gallium et du scandium et du cérium trivalent comme activateur. Une telle substance luminescente émet une bande large de lumière visible avec un maximum d'émission dans la zone verte du spectre et a, de plus, un temps de décharge de moins de 10**-6 secondes.
