Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour fermer l'embouchure d'un sac au moyen d'un cordon. Il comporte un dispositif 3 d'alimentation en cordon 2 disposé entre deux parois verticales; un dispositif distributeur comportant une lame de coupe 23 et des rouleaux distributeurs 12; des fentes de guidage 5 pour recevoir l'embouchure 28 du sac et comportant des parties coudées obliquement 5'; et un mécanisme de torsion 15 monté sur un chariot 7 se déplaçant au voisinage des parties coudées 5'; la rotation du mécanisme de torsion permettant de placer une certaine longueur de cordon autour de l'embouchure du sac et d'en torsader les extrémités. L'invention est utilisable notamment pour l'emballage de marchandises en vrac.
