Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un amortisseur hydraulique comprenant: un tube interieur 1 rempli d'huile, un tube extérieur 2 formant avec le tube 1 un espace annulaire A ayant une partie A 1 remplie d'huile et une partie A2 remplie d'un gaz; un piston 3; une tige de piston 4; et un orifice 12 reliant l'espace A1 avec l'espace B. Selon l'invention, l'orifice 12 a une section déterminée pour provoquer un effet d'étranglement sur le débit d'huile qui le traverse, tandis qu'un mécanisme de soupape 18, 19 est disposé dans le piston pour coopérer avec l'effet d'étranglement et la pression du gaz de manière à empêcher la création d'une quelconque depression dans la chambre à gaz A2 lorsque le piston se déplace vers le bas. L'invention s'applique aux véhicules automobiles.
