Abstract

Frein à air comprimé à commande électro-pneumatique comprenant une conduite générale 1 commandant une soupape de commande de frein 4 modérable au desserrage qui controle elle-même un cylindre de frein 25 à partir d'une source d'air comprimé, et une soupape-relais 40 commandée par soupapes électromagnétiques 29, 30 et incluant deux soupapes d'admission 45, 48 et deux soupapes d'échappement 46, 47 ainsi que des orifices restricteurs ralentissant l'écoulement de l'air comprimé. L'invention prévoit d'adjoindre à la soupape-relais 40 deux soupapes d'arret à étranglement 58, 59 grâce auxquelles il est possible d'agir sur la pression régnant dans la conduite générale 1 en des temps inférieurs à ceux prescrits pour les manoeuvres de serrage ou de desserrage des freins. Application notamment à l'équipement des véhicules sur rails.
