Abstract

Lors d'une transmission en fac-similé, les successions de points d'image ayant la même luminosité sont transmis sous forme codée. Dans le cas d'une perturbation au cours de la transmission, on reçoit des lignes d'image trop longues ou trop courtes. Selon la présente invention, il est proposé dans le cas d'une ligne d'image reçue perturbée, de comparer cette ligne à une ou respectivement aux deux lignes d'image voisines, de mettre en mémoire les parties présentant une corrélation suffisante et, en ce qui concerne l'emplacement des parties perturbées, de décaler la fin de la ligne d'image perturbée de telle façon que la ligne définitive reconstituée ait la longueur prescrite, les parties n'ayant pas une corrélation suffisante étant remplacées par l'information correspondante contenue dans une des deux lignes d'image voisines. Application à la transmission de fac-similé.
