Abstract
A number of fire alarm units are coupled in parallel on a loop connected to a central monitoring station. A switching stage ensures that the alarm circuits are scanned sequentially and are coupled to the monitoring stage one at a time. The alarm loop is coupled to a monitoring stage which has receiver windings that generate signals to an output winding. A resonator circuit with limiting diodes and a threshold trigger is coupled to a micro computer. Each alarm loop has a sensor and an associated timing stage that is activated to close a switch to a predetermined time base to establish a connection with the monitoring station.
