Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the present position of a person, etc., moving in a prescribed area with simple constitution, by arranging one transmission path connected to a receiver in a loop shape, and detecting the receiver from which a reception signal is sent based on a difference in the propagation time of the reception signal obtained via the transmission path. CONSTITUTION:The reception signals SRA and SRB inputted to first and second input terminals 2A and 2B require the propagation time corresponding to the length of the transmission path 3 from the receivers 7A-7G to the first and second input terminals 2A and 2B, respectively. Therefore, it is possible to detect the receivers 7A-7G from which the reception signals SRA and SRB are sent by detecting a time difference DELTAt between the reception signals SRA and SRB. In such a way, it is recognized that the installed places of the receivers 7A-7G indicate the present position of a desired person.
