Abstract

Ce dispositif peut être préréglé et se bloquer ensuite si des forces de rotation brutales ou progressives lui sont appliquées. Il comprend un premier organe 8 reçu au moins en partie dans un second organe 6 dont la rotation dans un sens ou dans l'autre provoque celle de l'autre organe, autour du même axe. Des galets 3 coopèrent avec des surfaces de coincement (surface interne d'un manchon 2 et faces planes d'un organe 8) pour empêcher la rotation de l'organe 6 sous l'effet d'une rotation de l'organe 8, les galets étant agencés par paires autour de l'axe et le nombre de paires supérieur à deux. Les forces nécessaires pour empêcher la rotation sont ainsi réparties de façon à peu près égale entre les galets respectifs des paires de galets.
