Abstract

L'invention concerne le traitement des micro-organismes. Le procédé faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé en ce que l'on sature au préalable une suspension aqueuse des cellules de micro-organismes avec un gaz comprimé sous une pression réglable, on maintient la suspension saturée de gaz sous la pression de saturation pendant un laps de temps suffisant pour obtenir une suspension uniformément saturée de gaz, et on fait passer en continu la suspension préparée de la sorte à travers un sous-ensemble de désintégration 5 dans lequel les enveloppes cellulaires se désintègrent sous l'effet d'une brusque chute des pressions dans les cellules. L'invention trouve des applications notamment dans l'industrie microbiologique, l'industrie alimentaire et dans celle des produits médicinaux.
