Abstract

Diving garment, partic. jacket, comprises several pieces joined by seams, with all the seams extending longitudinally relative to the body and arms. There are pref. 4 pieces: a front piece, a back piece, and two side pieces each forming a side of the body and a sleeve all in one. The side pieces are Y-shaped, with the two edges of the strip forming one of the arms of the Y stitched to each other to form a sleeve. A hood is pref. formed by extending the back piece and the two side pieces which are stitched together by meridian seams. At the front are two vertical side seams from the neck to the lower edge, and at the back are two vertical seams from the lower edge and along the sides of the back. The garment is easier to put on and take off, and does not irritate the skin.
