1508061 Yachtsman's suits E T SKINNER & CO Ltd 7 June 1976 [8 March 1975 (2)] 811/75 and 1585/75 Heading A3V A yachtsman's suit 1 is of sheet material and has side panels 16 extending along the outer side of each leg and when laid flat having a forward facing bend (17) at the knee, the panels imparting to the suit a shape which readily conforms to the bent-knee posture of the yachtsman when sitting. The suit below the waist comprises a back panel (9), two front panels 10, side panels (16) and a crotch panel 15 joined by tape stitched to the panels. Panel (16) comprises an upper member 16a with a thigh curve (19) and a lower member 16b with two flaps 16c covered by a thinner gusset 20. The suit is faced inside with nylon stretch fabric (2). The suit forms an undersuit being covered by waterproof overtrousers 4 stitched to suit 1 along seam (6) in waist region (5) interrupted in the region of zip fastener 3. Over trousers 4 have flies (7) secured by a strip fastener, pockets (8) and strips of pimpled rubber on the seat. A separate jacket is provided.
