Abstract

Coupe-tube. Il est destiné à être descendu dans un puits afin de découper plusieurs tubages cimentés dans ce dernier. Il comprend un corps contenant un canal central dans lequel coulisse un piston qui comporte un étranglement tel que le piston se deplace axialement dans le corps. Plusieurs lames sont reliées au piston et sont montées dans des ouvertures du corps. Des éléments de guidage disposés entre les lames et le corps guident ces dernières le long d'un trajet courbe lorsqu'elles se déplacent vers l'extérieur au moment où le piston descend de façon qu'elles coupent une entaille annulaire très étroite. Application à la découpe des tubages et des têtes de puits forés en mer lorsque ces puits sont abandonnés.
