Abstract

Thermomètre de point chaud. Il comprend un corps creux de matière céramique dont les extrémités sont ouvertes et qui est plongé dans le milieu dont il faut détecter les variations de température, en particulier la température de son point le plus chaud. Le corps comprend deux alésages, et une tige de matière diélectrique disposée dans le corps se dilate ou se contracte en fonction des variations de température du milieu et provoque des variations correspondantes du débit d'un gaz circulant en circuit fermé dont font partie les alésages. Les variations de débit se traduisent par des variations de pression qui sont affichées par un manomètre à lecture visible. Application à la détection des variations de température entre les spires de l'enroulement d'un transformateur qui est plongé dans de l'huile de refroidissement.
