Abstract

The compression-type heat pump contains a cooling fluid and, in series, a first heat exchanger in which the fluid absorbs the excess heat transmitted by a heat-conductive fluid from a cold source, a compressor set, a second exchanger where it rotors heat to a user circuit, and an expander returning it to the first exchanger. The first exchanger is connected to the compressor set by a stato-thermal compressor, which also connects the second exchanger to the expander. At the outlet from the compressor set is a three-way valve, enabling the cooling fluid to be tapped off to the thermal compressor or delivered directly to the second exchanger. At the outlet from the latter is a second three-way valve, allowing the fluid to be delivered directly to the expander.
