Abstract

L'invention concerne une vanne à boisseau sphérique. La vanne comporte un corps 9, un obturateur muni d'un passage axial monté à rotation autour du corps, des orifices d'entrée et de sortie circulaires et une bague de siège 3 disposée entre la circonférence de chaque orifice et l'obturateur. Des ressorts 5 sont montes entre chaque bague et le corps pour repousser la bague contre l'obturateur afin de maintenir un joint étanche entre chaque bague et l'obturateur. L'invention est applicable aux vannes à boisseau sphérique de grand diamètre.The invention relates to a ball valve. The valve comprises a body 9, a shutter provided with an axial passage mounted to rotate around the body, circular inlet and outlet orifices and a seat ring 3 disposed between the circumference of each orifice and the shutter. Springs 5 are mounted between each ring and the body to push the ring against the shutter in order to maintain a tight seal between each ring and the shutter. The invention is applicable to large diameter ball valves.
