Abstract

The safety lock comprises a partial locking key and a total locking key. At least one of the key guides (5, 6) has a supplementary notch (8) which moves into the plane of the tumbler when the partial locking key is inserted permitting a limited rotation of the drum (1) because of a semicircular groove provided in the tumbler. Rotation of the key in one sense permits the partial engagement of the bolt in the catch, the tube (2) containing the drum having a notch (15) which allows passage of the key rib and its extraction after rotation to the partially locked position.
