Abstract

La présente invention concerne une nouvelle composition permettant d'augmenter l'adhérence des fibres de verre au caoutchouc naturel. Elle est constituée d'une solution de résine A issue de : - eau : 433 parties en poids; - résorcinol : 36,6 parties en poids; - hydroxyde de sodium : 1 à 3,50 parties en poids; - formaldéhyde à 40 % : 21,3 à 50,0 parties en poids et d'une solution de latex B composée de : - eau : à 292 parties en poids; - latex naturel à 60 % : 213 à 428 parties en poids; - latex à base de vinylpyridine à 40 % : 640 à 960 parties en poids. Les fibres de verre ainsi adhérisées offrent un grand intérêt pour la fabrication de câblés pour pneumatiques, courroies transporteuses, etc.
