Abstract
Disposable urine collector comprises a cup (1) and a collecting bag (5) into which extends a non-return flat diaphragm valve (4). The valve is pref. made from a film which is preoriented on one side and heat shrunk onto the connecting piece (3) of the cup or onto the shoulder (2) of the cup. The valve may have one or more reinforcing ribs, pref. one rib at the side. The urine collector is very simply constructed from few components and assembled easily and cheaply. It reliably prevents escape of liquid and is easy to handle. Although intended as a urine collector partic, for bedridden persons, it may be also used to transport substances partic liquids.
